  • Certified to perform UBC Gunn IMS (a dry needling technique)

  • Six seasons as team physiotherapist for local junior hockey teams with a keen interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitation

Dinu Pillai M. Sc. PT

Dinu is an energetic and passionate physiotherapist, dedicated in empowering clients to take control of their life. Having completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India and Master of Physiotherapy from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. Dinu has passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve their best physical health. He loves working collaboratively with clients to achieve their unique rehabilitation goals, utilizing a combination of strength and conditioning exercise and hands-on treatment. His approach goes beyond the treatment room by imparting knowledge and advice on maintaining longer-lasting results.

He has 20 years of clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist in India and Qatar.  He was also a Physiotherapy academician in Malaysia for 6 years.  He has published a research article about “Impact of Exercise Training on Depression among People with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: A Narrative Review” in Journal of Disability CBR & Inclusive Development.

He enjoys spending time with his wife Manju and his son Madhav. He loves soccer, cricket and ice hockey and follows it during his spare time.
